How can I buy an icomic with a credit card?

Paypal accept credit-cards. Please use the paypal link to buy credits with your credit cards.

How can I buy an icomic with paypal?

You can buy ten comics' worth of credits for £11.00, or you can get one comic for £1.40 - just click the link in the My Account page once you're logged on to get the credits, then click the "Buy Comic" link to spend 'em.

How can I buy an icomic through SMS billing?

Unforunately we have had to suspend SMS payments. We're in negotiation to use a new provider, and hope to have the service back up within a month or so. Thanks for your patience.

I want to link to your site, can I?

You may, indeed you're encouraged to. There's even a banner you can use to do so if you want. Add code like this to your website:

Will the icomics work on my phone?

Your phone will need to be able to use java midletts, and to be able to download them using WAP/GRPS/etc. We hope to develop a way for microsoft's phones to read the icomics soon, but we've got a long list of things we're hoping to do so don't hold your breath.

The easiest way to to find out if you phone will run an icomic is to simply test a free version of an icomic on your phone and see. Pick one of a similar size to the comic you want to buy, and test it!

Who should I complain to about a comic?

If the icomic contains unlawfully used copyright material then let us know right away and we'll investigate and remove the copyrighted material ASAP.

If you're complaining about offensive content in a comic, post a comment in the comic's forum or contact the artists who made the comic. The icomic Press is commited to free speech and will not censor a comic because its jokes are crass or its content lewd. If the content is actually likely to be illegal rather than merely offensive then you can make a complaint to the admins and we'll investigate. We will not remove or edit an icomic becasue it contains swear words. We think people should be able to say fuck if they want to, and worse.

How can I learn about making my own icomics?

We have a software manual on the site. Since the software is constantly a work-in-progress, the manual is too. It's built on a wiki, so that all the users can alter pages and fix errors or explain new features, tricks and tips.

What is your information policy?

We don't try to collect information unless we need it for a purpose. All publicly-viewable information is not compulsory. The information policy is available online.
